Effective August 8, 2026. These terms apply to Seamshift Arena. By using the website or game, you agree to use it lawfully and understand that it is a small experimental entertainment and educational project. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Free experimental experience

The current release is offered without payment, registration, prizes, wagering, purchases, or downloadable rewards. A score, seed total, surface result, or completion message has no cash value and is not an academic credential, mathematical proof, professional qualification, or guaranteed assessment of a learner's understanding.

Educational limits

The torus and Möbius mappings are designed to accurately demonstrate the specific rectangle identifications described on the site. The game is not a complete topology course and does not model every manifold, embedding, metric, physical surface, or game-design implementation. Use an appropriate textbook or instructor for formal study and cite a mathematical source rather than this result screen.

Acceptable use

You may play, link to public pages, and use ordinary browser accessibility tools. You may not disrupt hosting, probe accounts you do not control, inject malicious code, misrepresent results as certification, evade lawful access restrictions, or use the contact route for spam, harassment, credential requests, or unlawful material.

Ownership and third-party software

The rules, code, writing, interface, generated botanical assets, and brand are original project work unless a notice says otherwise. Open-source dependencies are identified in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md and retain their licenses. These terms do not transfer copyright, trademarks, or ownership rights to a player.

No warranty and limitation

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” No promise is made about uninterrupted access, every-browser compatibility, mathematical coverage beyond the stated mappings, score preservation, search ranking, revenue, or future availability. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use or inability to use the site.

Contact and termination

Access may be ended to protect the site, comply with law, or retire the experiment. Questions can use the public GitHub profile without posting confidential information. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
